Myrtle Beach Maternity Photographer

Maternity photography sessions are done at your chosen location. We can do the session in your home and backyard (my favorite!), the beach or any of the other beautiful locations along the Grand Strand, Pawleys, Charleston or Wilmington… Clothing will be provided for the mother-to-be for the session. For a beautiful in home session, all we need is one window with good light, although I typically find many great areas in client's homes that they never would have known would make a beautiful spot for photos. Having your session in your home makes these images so much more meaningful!

Experience & Process

After your inquiry through the website, I’ll get in touch and send over all the information you need. We can talk over the phone if you’d like and you may ask me any and all questions. Once you’ve decided to book your Myrtle Beach maternity photography session, you’ll be emailed a contract that you will sign online and then pay your session fee. At that point we will keep in touch about your session via text.

I want your images to be perfect, so after your session is complete it will take around 2 weeks for editing. You’ll then receive an online gallery which will be live for 3 days. During this time you will select your collection. Every collection comes with either prints, an album, or a combination of both, along with digitals.

I do not offer digital files without prints as an option. So much effort is put into these sessions. It’s my job to make sure they are printed professionally and my print collections are of the highest quality available. If you are only after images to post to IG and Facebook, I’m not the girl for you. Prints matter and you are going to get the most beautiful, museum quality prints to enjoy forever!

What should we wear for our Myrtle Beach maternity photo session?: Your clothing choices should be a reflection of YOU! For your images to be genuine, I suggest more casual clothing, especially for sessions taking place in the home. Neutral or colorful tones are great! Keep patterns minimal and please no graphic t shirts. I am happy to curate outfits from your closet or send suggestions. I also have an extensive client closet with a range of sizes and you are welcome to use anything from it you wish for your session.
When should we book our maternity session?: Maternity sessions are best when captured between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy.
Can spouses and kids be in my maternity photos? What about pets?: Absolutely! Kiddos, spouses and pets in your immediate family are welcome to participate in your maternity session!
What is the typical client investment for a portrait session?: A portrait investment with Wendy Kovac Photography starts at $1595. Each Myrtle Beach photography session comes with museum quality print products as well as high resolution digital images. My top Newborn Collection includes a complimentary maternity session when booked and paid in full. Inquire for more details.
